Maritime Surveys & Claims operates to protect our clients’ interests in relation to the importation of fertilizers. The Australian Quarantine and Inspection service has exacting standards with a zero tolerance for foreign grain residues and this means it is essential that vessels carrying fertiliser to Australia are checked rigorously.

Our operatives undertake surveys compatible with FIFA (Fertilizer Industry Federation of Australia Inc) standards. We are able to engage any equipment necessary to access all parts of the vessels’ holds and surrounding areas and we ensure that we conduct a walkover on completion of loading.

As well as surveying the vessel for cleanliness we can conduct flow path inspections to ensure shore side equipment is free from contaminants.

 To complete the job and ensure the clients’ peace of mind we conduct draft surveys, supervise loading and monitor product quality.
